Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in New Mexico
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• IV certification preferred
• Previous experience in a rehab or long-term care setting is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccination series or documented exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical terminology and nursing procedures
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records
• Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple patient needs
