Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental hygiene services, including scaling, polishing, and preventive oral care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care habits
• Collaborate with the dental assistant and team to ensure smooth, comfortable half-hour appointments
• Maintain a clean, sanitized clinical environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the dental record
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced dental practice

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently with 30-minute appointment scheduling
• Prior dental hygiene experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Skill in patient charting and documentation
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative dental team
• Comfort with a fast-paced clinical environment
