Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: PRN, as needed - 12.5-hour shifts, Acute Care (Shift Type: CNA - ACUTE)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to acute care patients
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Support patient dignity and independence while promoting recovery
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana
- BLS certification required
- Previous acute care or hospital experience is a plus
- Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
- Skill in obtaining and recording vital signs
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
- Empathy and patient advocacy
- Time management and adaptability to changing patient needs
