Shift Type: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents during night shifts
Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility assistance to reduce fall risk
Keep patient rooms tidy and maintain infection control practices
Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary staff during handoffs
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through empathetic care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Prior experience as a CNA preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must be local to Albuquerque (LOCAL ONLY assignment)

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with personal care tasks and patient handling
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation skills
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting systems
Good observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Professional bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
