Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to acute care patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact)
• Minimum 1-2 years of current Med/Surg acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of med/surg nursing standards
• Skill in managing post-operative surgical patients
• Experience with cardiac drips (amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin)
• Proficiency in EMR (Meditech)
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
