Behavioral Health Technician - Travel

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support to patients in need
- Monitor patient behavior and ensure a safe environment
- Implement individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision
- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team
- Assist with daily living activities and therapeutic engagement
Qualifications
- Current CPI Blue Card certification required prior to submission
- Minimum 2 years experience in behavioral health or related field
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel for assignments of 13 weeks
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of de-escalation techniques and crisis prevention
- Familiarity with patient observation and documentation practices
- Team collaboration and adaptability in changing environments
- Compassionate approach to patient care
