Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in a behavioral health setting
• Assess patients' mental and physical health status and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor responses, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and well-being
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Respond to behavioral health crises with de-escalation techniques and professionalism

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and best practices
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Compassion, patience, and resilience
