Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe clinical environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification (e.g., CDA) preferred
• Radiology certification and experience taking dental X-rays
• Previous orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Denticon) is a bonus
• Excellent interpersonal skills to comfort patients
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
