Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene
• Provide compassionate care to young patients
• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent is preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in dental assisting, especially pediatric, is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with children and families
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
