Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in behavioral health services
• Assess patients' mental and physical status and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain confidential records
• Support patients and families through education and therapeutic communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in crisis situations
• Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care

• Psychiatric assessment and crisis intervention
• Therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques
• Medication administration and monitoring
• Care planning and documentation
• Collaboration within an interdisciplinary care team
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
