Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to patients in both adult and youth behavioral health units
• Float between Adult and Youth hospitals on the same campus as census requires
• Collaborate with a creative, solution-oriented team to de-escalate challenges and avoid power struggles
• Make person-centered decisions that balance policy, safety, and individual needs
• Use Cerner for accurate and timely charting
• Contribute to a supportive culture built on empathy, accountability, and honest feedback

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• CPI certification required (or willing to obtain within 45 days of start)
• 2+ years of recent behavioral health experience required
• Cerner experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills (CPI)
• Trauma-informed care principles
• Flexibility and creativity in patient interactions
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
