Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with behavioral health needs
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions tailored to each patient's unique situation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare providers
• Advocate for patients and support their journey toward recovery and wellness

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state license
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and resilient demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment tools and interventions
• Understanding of psychotropic medications and their side effects
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations with empathy
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
