Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with behavioral health needs
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patients for response and side effects
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care
• Support patients and families through crisis intervention and education
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes recovery and dignity

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire (or compact state)
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or related nursing preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Crisis intervention or de-escalation training is a plus
• A caring, resilient, and adaptable approach to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and recovery-oriented care
• Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and therapeutic interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols
• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare environment
