Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams including ABI, carotid, renal, aortic, abdominal, venous and arterial studies
• Conduct lower extremity reflux studies and other specialized vascular protocols with professionalism and accuracy
• Operate and maintain GE ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality meets radiology standards
• Document findings and enter results into MediTech Expanse accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and care plans
• Provide excellent patient-centered care — explain procedures, ensure comfort and maintain patient safety
• Manage complex study scheduling and adapt to changing clinical needs independently
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond professionally to urgent requests

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Must be registered in the state of New Hampshire (NH) — required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — preferred
• Minimum 2 years of vascular sonography experience
• Comfortable using MediTech Expanse and GE ultrasound platforms
• Ability to work independently in a small-unit setting and manage a busy schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Vascular ultrasound techniques and protocols (ABI, carotid, renal, aortic, abdominal)
• Venous and arterial duplex studies and interpretation fundamentals
• Lower extremity reflux study technique
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
• Experience documenting in MediTech Expanse
• Familiarity with pTCO2 (training available on-site)
• Strong patient communication, time management and critical-thinking skills
