Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:15 AM - 5:15 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Admit patients efficiently for procedures every 30-45 minutes, setting a smooth tone for their care journey
  • Provide compassionate Phase II recovery post propofol sedation, ensuring safe and comfortable awakenings
  • Master documentation in Epic and Provation to keep everything running seamlessly
  • Assist with procedures as needed, building confidence in a high-tech GI environment
  • Perform peripheral IV starts and bedside procedures for inpatients, making a real difference one patient at a time

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Washington
  • 2+ years of nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency with peripheral IV starts
  • COVID vaccine required

Education

  • BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise in GI procedures like colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS
  • Comfort with endoscopy tech support and scope room dynamics
  • Familiarity with Epic charting and Provation
  • Bonus points for ERCP and EUS assisting experience
