Surgical Tech - CST

Location: Kearney, NE

Start Date: 05-25-2026

End Date: 08-24-2026

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with call: one weeknight per week until 7:00 AM next morning, three weekend days per month (24-hour shifts), holidays as needed, 15-minute call response

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scrub and assist in diverse cases including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro procedures
  • Independently handle cranial procedures and neuro-trauma call
  • Support high-volume OR with 18 cases per day across 11 suites
  • Utilize advanced tech like Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment with surgeons and anesthesia

Qualifications

  • CST certification preferred
  • BLS required
  • Ortho total joint and ortho trauma experience in level II trauma setting
  • General OR experience
  • Ability to scrub and work independently on cranial procedures

Knowledge & Skills

  • Competence in neuro scoring 3s and neuro-trauma
  • Proficiency with Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, Scopis, and EPIC
  • Strong hustle, positive attitude, and willingness to speak up for patient safety
