Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-03-2026

End Date: 08-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, every other weekend, rotating call 1x/week weeknights and 1 weekend/month from Friday evening through Monday AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scrub in and monitor hemodynamics during critical cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Assist in diverse cases from coronary interventions to neuro procedures in a STEMI-ready facility
  • Collaborate with RNs and team members on conscious sedation and emergent calls
  • Handle 10-22 cases daily across specialized suites, making a real difference in patient outcomes
  • Rotate call for inpatient and urgent cases, ensuring top-tier care around the clock

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of current cath lab experience required, no first-time travelers
  • Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips like Integrilin and vasopressors, and balloon pumps
  • Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Proficient in team roles: scrubbing and hemodynamics monitoring
  • Skilled in Cerner charting system
