Travel Registered Nurse - NICU (Level III)
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Start Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, no on-call (float to Nursery as needed)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU
- Assess, monitor, and document patient vitals and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IVs, and specialized neonatal therapies
- Collaborate with neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and the care team to create individualized care plans
- Support and educate families during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives
- Float to the Nursery as needed to support healthy newborn care
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license (TX or compact state)
- 1+ years of Level III NICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Experience with neonatal ventilators, CPAP, and high-acuity monitoring
- Ability to float to Nursery and adapt quickly
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in high-pressure situations
- Proficient in neonatal resuscitation and emergency response
- Excellent communication with families, physicians, and team members
- Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
- A heart for caring for our tiniest patients
