Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Help with feeding and ensure patients receive proper nutrition and hydration
• Document patient care activities and report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but new grads are welcome
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work per diem shifts as needed
• A genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical information
• Understanding of infection control and HIPAA regulations
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is helpful
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and assist patients
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
