Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
• Provide a warm, reassuring presence to help children feel at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software and recordkeeping
• Excellent patient interaction skills, especially with children
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
