Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams, fittings, and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Provide a warm, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Active Maryland dental radiology certification
• Prior experience in an orthodontic practice is a plus
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Familiarity with dental software and scheduling tools
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Sharp attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
