Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Monitor patient vitals and recovery before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (or compact license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Previous experience in surgical nursing preferred but not required – we welcome passionate candidates
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and OR protocols
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
