Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to NICU and adult patients in a 140-bed hospital
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators including Hamilton C1, V60, and MR1
• Administer CPAP, Bubble CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula therapies
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust patient respiratory plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Meditech
• Support and educate nursing staff on respiratory best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of general Respiratory Therapy experience
• NICU experience required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (NRP preferred but can be obtained after hire)
• Experience with CPAP, Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Hamilton ventilators
• Ability to work night shifts including every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management with Hamilton C1, V60, and MR1
• Skilled in non-invasive respiratory support including CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula
• Proficient with Meditech documentation system
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills for NICU patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
