Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and home care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and examinations
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience as a Dental Hygienist is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• A genuine passion for helping patients achieve healthy smiles

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Strong attention to detail and infection control standards
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with the dental team
• Compassionate patient care approach
