Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough respiratory care evaluations and implement treatment protocols to improve patient outcomes
• Deliver aerosol medications and metered dose inhaler treatments with precision and care
• Respond immediately to rapid responses, cardiac arrests, and STAT situations, maintaining airways and providing life support
• Set up and manage oxygen therapy systems according to established protocols to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience in an acute care setting
• Previous travel work experience is a plus
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Active NRP certification
• Active RRT certification through the NBRC
• Active Michigan state license
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in respiratory care and aerosol medication delivery
• Proficient in airway management and emergency response
• Strong understanding of oxygen therapy protocols
• Skilled in CPR and life support techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
