Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Act as Charge Nurse once training is completed, guiding the team and coordinating patient flow
- Float to other units as needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's needed most
- Triage patients, administer medications, and perform emergency interventions
- Document patient assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes
- Embrace block scheduling to provide consistent care and team stability
Qualifications
- Must have MAB Certification at time of submission
- Active RN license required
- Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable floating to different units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing skills including triage, assessment, and critical thinking
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification
- Ability to lead as Charge Nurse and direct a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of emergency medications, interventions, and protocols
