Physical Therapist - Uptown Rehabilitation
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Start Date: 10-12-2026
End Date: 01-09-2027
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, day shift with 30-minute meal break
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient physical therapy needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments to achieve the best outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the rehabilitation team for comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with facility standards
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Mexico
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current BLS certification (or obtained upon hire)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise techniques
- Patient assessment, evaluation, and documentation
- Understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Time management and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
