Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient physical therapy needs and create personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments to achieve the best outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the rehabilitation team for comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Mexico
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current BLS certification (or obtained upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Prior experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise techniques
• Patient assessment, evaluation, and documentation
• Understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
• Time management and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
