Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms
- Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Manage patient records and update Denticon software
Qualifications
- Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA) or similar ortho certification required
- Previous experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to use Denticon or similar practice management software
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in orthodontic assisting and dental assisting procedures
- Proficient with Denticon practice management software
- Knowledgeable in dental radiography and X-ray processing
- Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
