Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage patient records and update Denticon software

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA) or similar ortho certification required
• Previous experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Ability to use Denticon or similar practice management software
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in orthodontic assisting and dental assisting procedures
• Proficient with Denticon practice management software
• Knowledgeable in dental radiography and X-ray processing
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
