Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and at-home care routines
• Partner with a dedicated dental assistant to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient charts
• Support the dental team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Completion of a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong clinical skills and attention to patient comfort
• Ability to work efficiently in a supportive team environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency with dental instruments and equipment
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Detail-oriented with a gentle, patient-first approach
• Ability to adapt quickly to new practice environments
