Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and promote health
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Follow infection control standards and facility protocols to ensure patient safety
• Support smooth shift-to-shift handoffs and help maintain unit efficiency

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and specialty certifications a plus
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred; per diem or med/surg experience helpful
• Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate quickly with unit teams
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Safe medication administration and documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Basic IV therapy and wound care knowledge
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Professionalism, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset
