Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic monitoring to ensure patient stability
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
- Float to similar units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
- First-time travelers welcome

- Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Alaris IV pump operation
- Strong teamwork and patient advocacy skills
