Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality MS/Telemetry patient care and continuous telemetry monitoring
• Assess, triage, and intervene for changes in patient condition with confidence
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement safe care plans
• Maintain required certifications and follow facility protocols for emergencies
• Support unit staffing by floating to like units within scope when needed

Qualifications

• Valid RN license (state licensure requirements apply)
• Minimum 2 years MS/Telemetry nursing experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• First-time travel clinicians accepted
• Weekend availability: every other weekend required
• Pending licenses are not accepted; local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
• Medical-surgical nursing fundamentals and complex patient care
• Epic electronic charting proficiency
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient prioritization skills
• Ability to work night shift and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with hospital emergency and stroke protocols
