Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and pediatric patients
Assess patient condition and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Document patient care in the electronic health record clearly and timely
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Participate actively in unit-based quality and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (eligible to practice in Washington)
Med/Surg and pediatric clinical experience or strong interest in Pediatrics
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; pediatric certifications (PALS) preferred or supported
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a team
Willingness to complete required orientation for the unit

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical expertise in Med/Surg nursing with pediatric considerations
Patient assessment, IV therapy, medication administration and monitoring
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and respond to changing patient needs
Excellent communication with patients, families, and care teams
