End Date: 09-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, ensuring safe outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to manage emergencies
Educate patients and families on newborn care and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to evidence-based practices

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications required
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Proficient in maternal and neonatal assessment
Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
