Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional critical care to patients in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit
• Monitor and manage life-support equipment including balloon pumps and CRRT
• Administer medications and titrate drips with precision
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of 13 RNs and charge nurses per shift
• Perform cardioversions and manage central lines
• Ensure patient safety and positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel experience to a large facility is a plus
• Driven, organized, and efficient team player with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care and hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficiency with CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and balloon pumps
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-acuity setting
• Comfortable with EMR systems, especially Meditech
