Occupational Therapist - Travel
Location: Rawlins, Wyoming
Start Date: 01-11-2026
End Date: 04-06-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide treatment based on physician orders and referrals
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to promote independence in daily living skills
- Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with state practice acts and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Master's or Doctoral degree
- Active state OT license in Wyoming, or the ability to obtain one before start
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
- Patient evaluation and re-evaluation
- Discharge planning and patient education
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Supervision of COTAs and support staff
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and family communication
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for OT practice
- Time management and adaptability
