Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide treatment based on physician orders and referrals
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to promote independence in daily living skills
• Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with state practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Master's or Doctoral degree
• Active state OT license in Wyoming, or the ability to obtain one before start
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Patient evaluation and re-evaluation
• Discharge planning and patient education
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Supervision of COTAs and support staff
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and family communication
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for OT practice
• Time management and adaptability
