Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions following the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA license in Arkansas (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and safety compliance
• Infection control practices
• Physical therapy treatment implementation
• Patient documentation and education
• Home exercise program instruction
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
