Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to urgent care patients of all ages
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and minor procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and educate patients and families on care plans

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient triage and emergency assessment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
