Physical Therapist Assistant - Rehabilitation
Location: Boston, MA

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions following each patient's PT plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
- Assist patients with education and home exercise programs to support their goals
- Communicate patient status updates clearly to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all interactions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong foundation in physical therapy interventions and patient care
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Patient education and the ability to explain home exercise programs
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with supervising PTs and teams
- Knowledge of infection control and compliance standards
