Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs, promptly reporting changes to the nursing team
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Support the care team with clinical tasks and clear, thorough patient communication
• Advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and well-being

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and per diem assignments
• Compassion and professionalism with strong communication skills
• Reliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of patient care principles, safety protocols, and infection control
• Experience taking and documenting vital signs
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
• Quick problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced clinical settings
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
