Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and treatment in a fast-paced urgent care setting
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care with precision
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and document care promptly
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and prioritize care effectively

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of urgent care clinical protocols and procedures
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation systems
• Excellent triage and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a high-volume environment
• Strong patient education and advocacy skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
