Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilator settings, and complex medication infusions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain a safe, healing environment in accordance with facility policies and standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or a compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• CCRN certification is a plus
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and prioritization skills
• Proficiency with ventilators, titratable drips, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Patient-centered and compassionate approach to care
