Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages in the Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies with critical thinking and quick action
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Active RN license from any U.S. state (AZ license not required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• NRP, TNCC, and ENPC obtained within one year of hire
• NIHSS certification within six months of hire
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Emergency Severity Index Level 5 and Patient Sitter Competency training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of emergency nursing procedures for all age groups
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
