Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Various weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to protocols

Qualifications

Valid California RN license (Nursys verified)
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
DCI/BVP and EDAP certifications preferred
Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience preferred
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures and equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Basic pharmacology and rhythm interpretation knowledge
