Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care with precision
• Assist with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response
• Provide moderate sedation for procedures like reductions and cardioversions
• Deliver expert care to stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients
• Conduct triage assessments using ESI guidelines in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate transport and documentation for seamless patient transfers

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC, ENPC, CPI preferred)
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Trauma and cardiac alert experience, including STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in emergency procedures like splinting, EKGs, and isolation protocols
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in high-pressure situations
