Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage and prioritize patients in a fast-paced ED/ER setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to create effective care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered, while monitoring patient responses
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Emergency department or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of emergency nursing standards and triage protocols
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and the care team
• Ability to make rapid, evidence-based clinical decisions
• Patient-centered approach with strong advocacy skills
