Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Document patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physical therapists and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire
• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program
• Minimum 1 year of experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to document accurately in EMR

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques
• Understanding of patient assessment and outcome measures
• Proficiency with common PT equipment
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing guidelines
• Effective time management and multitasking
