Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled therapy interventions that follow the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment with accuracy and heart
• Guide patients through education and home exercise programs they can truly stick with
• Communicate patient status clearly with your supervising PT and the care team
• Help patients restore mobility, improve function, and hit their treatment goals
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance standards every single shift
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to build the best possible outcomes for each patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license, or the ability to obtain one
• Comfortable following treatment plans and working alongside a supervising PT
• Team player who collaborates well with an interdisciplinary group
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
• Compassionate approach and a genuine desire to help people move better and feel better
