Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and examinations
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized and ready
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Manage supplies and keep the office organized and welcoming

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration (CDA/RDA) preferred
• Current X-ray certification or the ability to obtain one
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work evening shifts from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with denticon software is helpful
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and patient flow
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
