Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
• Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for each procedure
• Sterilize and disinfect equipment, maintaining the highest standards of infection control
• Take and develop dental X-rays, capturing clear images for accurate diagnosis
• Provide friendly and reassuring care to patients, answering their questions and educating on oral hygiene

Qualifications

• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Experience in a dental office setting, preferably with pediatric patients
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments
• Proficiency with dental software for charting and scheduling
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
